Ellsworth Public Library presents: Author Event with Callie Trautmiller (Becoming American)

Join author Callie Trautmiller and hear about the bravery of the heroic 100th Battalion, comprised almost entirely of Japanese Americans, who secretly trained at Fort McCoy and went on to become the most decorated unit in World War II as they liberated European towns, and even Dachau, from the Nazi Regime. Callie is the author of "Becoming American." A meal will be provided following the program courtesy of Ellsworth Senior Center and Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library.
