September Member Meeting - Fixing Downtown: Where the heck do we start?

When you have a downtown to fix the job can feel big and overwhelming--Where does a community even start? This month we’re welcoming a virtual guest, Roger Brooks, a keynote speaker and expert on travel, tourism, downtowns, community branding, and destination marketing. Roger will share how we can create a vibrant downtown on a shoestring budget by shifting our focus to activities.
We'll learn how local organizations are re-evaluating their special events and instead are creating activities, which are providing a far better return on investment for downtown retailers, restaurants and other local businesses.
This topic comes at the perfect time to coincide with the launch of the new Ellsworth Chamber Matching-Funds Community Grant program. We'll be sharing more about that, too!
